We had John Ryan as our wedding photographer back in June 2013, and I must say how happy I am that we went with him! Thought he was a very good price, he was lovely when we met him first to talk through it all and loved his previous work!
On the big day, john was so calm and relaxed which made me the very same! Some of our guests didn't even know until after that we had a photographer as he went unnoticed. He wasn't pushy and listened to what we wanted! We wanted natural shots with a few posed. We wanted the photos to be done quickly so we could enjoy the day, and he did all of that!
Coming to pick the photos for our album John was very good, as we live in England it was all through email! I was able to trust him and let him pick what style he would think would suit us, and he succeeded in doing this! We love our albums and we have them out to show them off :-)
We will definitely recommend to any friends in the future !!

To say we are delighted is an understatement. We are absolutely thrilled with our album. From the moment we came to meet you in your studio you put us at ease and we knew that this was one aspect of our wedding day we didn't need to worry about. Your sense of fun and good nature was contagious and continued throughout our wedding day. You were so unobtrusive on the morning of the wedding yet captured every vital aspect and emotion as we prepared for the church. The small stolen looks and glances between loved ones were all snapped without us even knowing.
Our families were both so impressed with your pleasant personality and you too put them at ease when it came to our family photographs. How you managed to work in that grueling heat and still remain professional and calm throughout we will never know. "Work the teeth" is our new family saying when it comes to taking pictures at home now!
No request was too much and you were quite happy to follow us to all the little picturesque spots we had found before the wedding and photographed us in each different location with such flair.
Our wedding photography experience got even better when we returned from honeymoon and paid you a visit at your studio and you made us a cuppa and we sat back and watched the slideshow of our day play before our eyes as we sipped our teas, held hands and got lost in the love and emotions of our magical day. What a beautiful experience that was on a Monday morning in August! The task of narrowing down all our fantastic pictures into the final chosen ones was one of the hardest jobs we ever had to do yet we left confident we had made the right decision.
A few months later, when our album arrived, beautifully packaged with all our extra little surprises, we were blown away. As has everyone else who has seen it since. With every turn of the page the memories and love pours out and each time we are reminded about something else from the day. The explosion of colour and the elegance of each shot makes us think we were taking part in a shoot for a top end wedding magazine and that this wasn't really our wedding day!
The experience, the album and the friendship is something we will treasure forever.

JOHN RYAN - THE BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER!
We can't recommend John Ryan highly enough; he was the most amazing wedding photographer who was a true gentleman from start to finish.
John kindly travelled to France for our wedding and spent the weekend with us going out of his way to make us relaxed while taking amazing photos - if only we could have put them all in our album!!
People always said that the professional shots on the day could be quite annoying and would take hours, but for us that was one of the best parts of the day, we've never laughed so much.
John made it all so relaxed and easy from start to finish. He really captured a sense of fun on the day and everybody at the wedding got on great with him. He is very creative and has great ideas to get photos that aren't typically staged and boring.
We are thrilled with all the photos. His layout of the album was amazing with great attention to detail. The album tells the perfect story of our day and captures all the precious moments shared with each other and our families and friends. It wouldn't have been so memorable without him. He really went to so much effort and we are so grateful.
We look forward to using John again and again in the years to come!

If I could do it all again I would without a doubt book John Ryan as my Wedding photographer! John made our wedding day so much fun and very relaxed.
When he arrived to the hotel on the morning of the wedding he was in great form, he picked my perfume (I had 2 perfumes and didn't know which to put on)....and then took some great shots while we were all getting prepared for the big day!!!
Throughout the day he was great and even made my mother very relaxed with the photos (as she hates having her photo taken)!!!!
Since the wedding, we visited John's office to view our photos and what an amazing evening that was. It was like having our wedding day all over again.
After a few weeks we got our album and I have to say its something that we both love and will cherish forever. He took some amazing shots, which were very natural. We couldn't recommend John highly enough.

Everybody tells you to cherish every moment of your wedding day because it is gone in a flash.... and it is.... unless you have John Ryan taking your photos.
When we first met John we found him to be a very down to earth guy with a modern approach to photography. But as we got to know John on the run up to our wedding day, we found him to be a lot more. He became a good friend that helped and advised us an all aspects of our wedding not just photography. We could ask him anything and he always went out of his way to give support.
When he arrived at my Mums house he really lit up the room, He made me feel so relaxed and helped out wherever he could. John directs you like a film director. Not only does he direct your poses but, he brings calm and humour to the occasion. You know that "stubborn relative" that doesn't want to stand in the right position or the Bride (yes me) is tense? John has a way of teasing you into forgetting the camera is there – even though it is glaring you in the face. He was also truly amazing with our little 4 year old girl who was being a typical difficult 4 year old!
If what you want from your wedding day is a tiny little bit of the day to relish in, then don't go for John – for what you get with John is a crescendo of high emotions that hit you wave after wave as you peruse through picture after picture of the highest quality.
The most important thing for me (hate to admit it) was to make sure I found a photographer that made me look amazing on my wedding day, and John definitely did that! I almost didn't recognise myself!!

What can we say but "WOW"
I know now why my sister cried for days when John got back to her and told her he was booked on the day of their wedding!!!!
From the time John got to the house to the time he left he made us all feel at ease, our nerves soon vanished. Time flew as John made it so much fun. You can see this throughout our photo's. We found ourselves not realising our photo’s were being taken.
A few weeks later we went to view our photos it was like re-living the whole day again. He did a fabulous job.
When we got our album we couldn't wait to show it off. Our family and friends said it was like something they had never seen. We want to say Thank you so much John for those great memories. You did a great job!!!
